We have now received clarity from TfL on the procedure for the conversion of Euro 5 TX4 taxi’s to Euro 6. TfL will allow conversion of all TX4 cabs with taxi plates, with expiry later than 18th December 2025.
Frustration in the taxi industry builds as approved HJS emission upgrade for Euro 5 TX4 taxi’s to be converted to Euro 6 emission standards still awaits TfL policy decision.
